Dr Jonathan Swarbrigg Cosmetic Dentist
Jon has been the principal dentist at Farsley since taking over the dental practice in 1999 and has a passion for cosmetic dentistry.
Jon qualified from Leeds Dental Hospital in 1992 and took a part time job at Farsley Dental Practice whilst working at Bradford Royal Infirmary undergoing further training in Oral Surgery.
In 1997 he took a teaching position at Leeds Dental Institute in restorative dentistry for five years on a part time basis. In 1999 he took over the ownership of Farsley Dental Practice. In 2001 Jon completed a year long implant training course and in 2003 completed a year long course in advanced restorative dentistry. He has also recently completed the membership examination for the faculty of general Dental Practitioners.
Jon has a special interest in implant dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry which includes cosmetic treatments (veneers, crowns, bridges) and endodontics. As the practice owner, Jon is committed to ensuring all treatments are carried out to a high standard and as such ensures that all the latest techniques and materials are used. This is reflected in his continuing commitment to postgraduate education. Jon is also a member of the BDA, ADI and BSOS. In view of his advanced training, Jon undertakes predominately private treatments.
His interests are rugby, running and playing golf having previously played for Leeds Tykes. Jon is married to Lorna with two children, James and Isla.
